The idea of Buddha tends to impart thoughts of relaxation and peace, and Buddha Kush eventually gives you that after taking you on a bit of a ride first. Unknown breeders have crossed Oregon Blueberry with Buddha’s Sister to create an Indica-dominant strain that’s full of flavour and rife with strong effects.
As you’ll initially feel a burst of euphoric energy that clears your mind and lifts you up into a place of zen. Socialization and creativity are heightened dramatically, making this strain a great choice if you have projects to complete. Be sure to plan your high accordingly, however, because what goes up must come down. Buddha Kush includes a deep relaxation on the back end, so deep in fact that you’ll be glued to your couch. Your mental state of bliss remains the same, but you might have a hard time remembering your name. Buddha Kush is an ideal choice for medical patients who need a little pick-me-up during the latter portion of their day.
This bud isn’t overly difficult to cultivate at home, although some experience may be helpful for this heavy blancher. Indoor or outdoor growth is just fine, and unlike other strains, she’ll do quite well in the face of colder weather. A careful eye is required though because if you let her go more than her 7 to 9-week flowering period, she’ll start to lose flavour. One more word to the wise, as Buddha Kush smells awful as she grows, make sure to invest in a smell-proof set-up if you’re rearing her inside.
